P.A.N.T. President Juliet Kunkel announced today that the organization has received a donation in the amount of $2,200 from Petco in support of Outreach Programs for Kitten and Cat Adoptions. P.A.N.T. conducts outreach programs on the first Saturday of each month at the Petco Store in Poughkeepsie, New York. Recently, the organization began offering the program on a bi-monthly basis.
Juliet credits P.A.N.T. Vice President Kristin Cotton’s tireless work with Petco as a primary reason why the organization received this grant. “Kristin has done a great job organizing volunteers, paperwork, equipment and schedules for the Outreach Program,” says Juliet. Because of her, many P.A.N.T. homeless cats and kittens are now happily settled in new adoptive homes.”
P.A.N.T. has placed 72 cats and kittens into foster care. Though numbers are slightly down this year due to the economic recession, P.A.N.T. diligently continues to try to find willing and able adoptive homes.
